Vagabond™ products are manufactured by Rouse Consulting, LLC, in Yakima, WA. Frank Rouse is the owner/manager and has twenty five years experience in the water treatment industry as an Award Winning Water Conditioning Dealer serving the state of Washington with locations in Yakima, Seattle, and Tumwater. During his tenure as a Dealer, Frank's team of professionals were consistently recognized as one of the best, ranking in the top ten in the country; his experience includes domestic, commercial, industrial, and municipal applications of all types of water treatment, including reverse osmosis, deionization, filtration and softening. After twenty five years as a Dealer, Frank took the temptation and sold his businesses to the franchisor, and retired.



FRANK'S 2003 ALPINE COACH

As an avid RV owner/operator traveling around the country, Frank grew tired of the terribly hard, bad tasting water and the resulting water spots in his new RV. The only treatment systems available on the market consisted of simple filters and clumsy manual water softeners requiring time consuming connections and messy regeneration; the water was still not considered "potable" and tasted awful! Frank wanted a foolproof purification system that would take care of bacterial issues as well as hard water. He also wanted a system large enough to provide plentiful shower water and wash water for the RV and car without the typical water spots. The 300 gallon per day unit was considered to be large enough and was first developed as a "manual" unit; however, it wasn't long before Frank recognized the inconvenience of the manual system and developed a fully automatic system which continuously provides purified and softened water when the RV is connected to a water supply.
